Dorcas responds to a community need

The Deep River Dorcas Ministry Group responded to the urgent need for face masks for area healthcare workers, health facilities, and those on the frontline of the COVID-19 virus. Over 2000 masks made with double layers of quilter's quality cotton are being donated to people at high risk.  This is the most life-critical need that Dorcas and our congregation has ever responded to.

"Thanks to the Dorcas Ministry, today I was able to give 20 masks to  Family Service of the Piedmont so their frontline workers can continue to visit the homes of families struggling with domestic abuse, child abuse, substance abuse, and mental health issues."
